BMW E39 LS1 swap missing cruise control
I have been struggling with cruise control in my gen3 P59 LS swap in E39 BMW. I have tackled the A/C to work among many other options this far. However my cruise control stays in "Cruise lockout"-mode.
The engine-transmission-PCM is from Holden Commodore 2006. It's a gen3 P59 PCM (blue/green connectors) LS1 and the transmission is 4L60E. Pedal and TAC are from truck and they talk with each other nicely. I have wired brake pedal signal to a relay which puts 12V to TAC when braking and 6 ohm resistor in that line when not braking. This seems to work since I see "Brake Lamp Switch" activating when I press brake (I'm looking this with Tech2).
The other output of the relay puts 12V to PCM pin #33 (TCC Brake signal) when not braking and 0 V when braking. This I verified with a multimeter.
However, with Tech2 I see "TCC/Cruise Brake Pedal" active all the time. It does not change whatever I do.
For some reason I also see "extended travel brake -active" also in Tech2 but I haven't found that switch from electric schematics. So I'm a bit concerned about the Tech2 lists also.
My only DTC present is "Crankshaft variation not learned" and I tried that procedure with Tech2 today. It revs well past 4 k in that test and the test won't complete. Perhaps this is related to the TCC/Brake situation(?)
