Piston rings & gaps for low boost and cylinder finish?

Default Piston rings & gaps for low boost and cylinder finish?

Pulling apart a 6.0 LQ4 gen 3. Has high leakage at the top of #2 60% leakage at 100psi. Has some staining in the cylinder and wanted to pull the pistons for a quick ball hone. I was going to go with the Hastings 2M4860 moly rings here. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hsn-2m4860 I've heard hastings recommends 240 grit on the hone and some say 320 or 400? I would like to get a good seal and clean up as much as possible. I've also heard that Moly rings aren't the best for boost. This will either be an NA motor or low boost 7psi max turbo setup. Obviously also looking for ring gaps as well as I will file fit them.

what is a good iron ring replacement like stock then?

I would recommend a 320. I have never had oil burning issues with a 320 finish Including Junkyard motors with boost...
