If so... lets see it! We will soon start picking the cars for the 2006 calendar. If you have a LS1 powered vehicle that you would like considered for one of the 13 spots, please post it. Not only are we looking for gorgeous cars, but we are looking for people who have the ability to take clean, HIGH (5MP+, 35MM) quality pictures (or knows someone who can do it for you). Another factor that we must consider is an open mind. We are looking for a person that is willing to have a female model with his/her car. At this time, we can only provide a female for you in Miami, FL and Houston, TX. If you are located in any other part of the US, you MUST have someone in mind. Obviously this person must have an open mind to the clothing that she will wear for the picture. She also must be approved by the calendar committee prior to the photographs. Some people say that I am kinda picky, so you might want to have more than one in mind

Remember, you don't want to give away your background or model in the picture you post! All we want to see at this time is the car. If we like the car, you will be put on the first set. The first set does not mean that you automatically have a spot. This means that we will be emailing you to see pictures of the girl and location that you have in mind. From there we will begin eliminating cars to find our final 13.

heck yeah my car is calendar material, although it is on blocks until the spring...and I'll take care of the female part, not a problem...I'll have to dig around for some good shots, especially the highly polished engine bay, but here is a simple pic from Camarofest this year

 

I will post some pics with my new 5 MP cam when I get the Z back together before xmas. I have a few girls in mind, two being professional models(twins). I can also head down to Miami for a day to get some pics if needed. Whats the general timeframe you are looking at?

There really isn't a set timeframe. We will continue our search for months if we can't find the 13 vehicles we are looking for. I estimate that we will stop our search around the end of Feb. However, if we have 100 gorgeous cars post up within the next few weeks, we might have to end our search before that. It really depends on what we see starting now. Not everyone that we pick will be from this post either. The calendar people are keeping their eyes open all over this site and already have a few cars in mind. I can safely say that we won't finish looking anytime in December... maybe Jan... most likely Feb.

And no, we will not be releasing the names or phone numbers of the girls in the calendar

I wouldn't have a problem with getting a girl or two to pose on the car. As for the location, I'm in Southwest VA... I have a few locations in mind. Depends on if you're wanting a scenic sort of look or city-ish?

I have to get my Steel Gray SS together . The car has some new goodies on now

Exports tail lights, new 18" wheels, CME, H.I.D's next week, and a few other small things.

Once the 01 SS is running I will get both cars cleaned up and take a few shots with the wife since shes used to model.

 

Damn, I have a idea, unfortunately it won't happen until after Febuary ....looks like I have to wait until 06. Anyways here's a crappy pic, if you think my cars calendar material I'll PM you what kind of setting I plan on doing of my Hot Rod.
