hey that's a really smart way to rule out a lot of nice looking cars - make it all about the wheels!!!!!

I intentionally bought GM wheels because I didn't want them to take away from the car. I think it takes a lot more creativity to make the car itself look unique than just picking out some shiny rims.

So long story short ruling out cars with GM wheels is a really arbitrary and illogical criteria but to each his own.

Is the calendar sponsored by an aftermarket wheel/tire co.?

BTW -- Racing wheels are aftermarket wheels! We also want to see cars that are "track ready".

As far as Tony's comment earlier, don't let the stock wheels keep you from posting pictures. If your car really stands out (even with GM wheels) then you could be considered. It will take alot more for your car to be picked if you have stock wheels, but there is a small chance that your car could be so amazing that it gets in. However, aftermarket wheels give cars that "edge" that usually allows them a spot over a car with stock wheels.

Speaking from personal experience, the month your car is featured goes by much quicker than the other 11 months of the year. My car was Miss November in the 2004 Pontiac Firebird Calendar, and it seemed to go by in the blink of an eye

I think my car would do. i have no pics tho, there are some in the eastern section.
however, my car has been fetured in GM High Tech performance, won 4 out of 4 super chevy shows at Epping, and the last 4 years i took first at the World Of Wheels in Boston.
not only is the car clean and neat, it runs FAST to.
if there is a slight chance, i will do my best to post pics

Since that picture I've added cross-drilled/slotted rotors & painted calipers along with headrests embroidered.

I will be accenting all grills in chrome as well.

Well, looks like it's not working for three reasons...
 • between the , it wants to have only the image URL, not the full HTML image-tag code
 • the URL you used isn't a direct link to an actual image file, it's being displayed through some PHP script
 • I went to try to find the actual image URL if possible, and it says "you've reached your bandwidth limit for this month, please upgrade", so even with the correct code and correct address, it still wouldn't be able to load...

Well here you go. I thought I would give it a shot even though I don't have aftermarket wheels. I hope that the criteria for selection goes beyond which wheels we have on our rides. Good luck to all.

You are right, to each his own. I think your car looks great except for the stock wheels. Looks unfinished to me. Your body kit is too flashy for boring stock wheels.

No, the calendar isn't sponsored by wheel/tire co, the money is fronted by LS1TECH, and I am one of the judges on the cars selected. So, I have more pull than a wheel/tire co.
