Default C6 Z06 brakes installed(pics)

These are probably not the best brake setup for the money, as a lot of people don't like them. But I think it's hard to beat the looks.
The wheels looked good but they needed a little something to fill them out. I think these do the job nicely.
A big downside is the weight. The rotors weigh 23lb each and the calipers loaded with new hawk pads weigh in at 15lb each.

C6 Z06 calipers:

These things are HUGE

Now one of you guys needs to tell me how to make the matching rears work on my car.

Very nice, you went from the smallest brakes to the largest.

I've been wanting to go with these brakes myself but I have 17" wheels so they'd never fit. I guess I'll just stick with the C5 Z06 brakes then.

Yes. All C5 and C6 calipers use the same brackets.

Those look good. Definitely looks better behind the wheel. What a difference in size between both rotors and calipers.

Looks really good.

Camaro rotors weight about 17.5 lbs and Impala comes in at 14.30.

If you already have wheels that will work with them, everything can be bought new for under $1200.

I saw those brakes in person on an ls1 camaro that was SLAMMED and had c6 z06 wheels...it was absolutely GORGEOUS...
