testing waters

The car looks a little dingy and undetailed for a 26k mile example. Just looking at those pics I would assume it had 2-3 times that mileage. Folks who will pay a premium for a low mileage car usually expect it to present like a low mileage car. I would clean it up nicely & thoroughly before posting an ad, that will make a big difference in the perception of potential buyers. You didn't mention trans type, but if it's a manual it might bring a bit more money.
$10k is usually about the ceiling for a really nice garden variety low mileage LT1 convertible, give or a take a little for your location (I'm not specifically familiar with the NE market prices).

Take some cool photos to make the car 'pop' and list it whenever you are ready. I wouldn't take less than $12k if the car is represented accurately. Garage kept, just 3 owners in 30 years is a positive. Maintenance records would be nice too. Of course the car can't be needing things, like a/c repair or tires, to get that $$$. Also the 'vert top has to be working well with no tears or serious leaks. Are the rubber seals OK, and the rear glass attached OK still?
I have a 2001 'vert with way more mileage than yours (87k) and I have it insured for $16,500. I might get $15k for it if for sale. With yours being 6 years older but with really low miles, I would think they would be worth similar even with the LT1 engine. Find some good locations for photos and with the paint looking sweet! Both top up and top down.
