Max size is 500 x 150
Yours is 400 x 250

You need to shorten it 100 px

PM me the link to the picture and I'll do it for you if you want. I just use Photoshop and it gives you the option to save the picture at different file sizes.

EDIT: I'm assuming its the one you currently have linked in your sig right now?

All,

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for the temporary signature rule change.
Contrary to popular belief, the decision was made for our members (your) benefit
and for the benefit of the site overall.

Here's how I see it...

Moderators and Admin currently monitor the signatures for well over 100,000 members.
The number of moderators we have represents 1/10th of a percent of the overall
population. There is no possible way we can ensure that all admin, moderators, members, and sponsors follow the site guidelines. We simply don't have the manpower.
Also, please keep in mind that every moderator is here because they want to help
the LSx community. There is no financial reimbursement for them from IB.

When we (admin/moderators) do follow site guidelines and remove or edit a members
signature or edit it, it often creates a negative vibe. Members get upset about it
and moderators or LS1Tech in general takes the heat for it from a perception standpoint...and we all know that perception is reality. Utilizing this software
functionality within VB requires that all members (admin, sponsors, moderators, etc)
follow the signature rules. It also gives moderators more time to focus on the technical
side of things as opposed to being sig "*****" as some of you like to refer them
to (remember the perception thing?).

Overall, we get:
  • Improved site performance (page loading).
  • Eliminate the need to moderate sig pics.
  • Equality in signature size.
  • Free web host here at LS1Tech for your sig pics.
  • Prevent pointless negative interactions between mods & members.
  • Etc, etc, etc
Please keep in mind that there are other forums that use this functionality.

Last but not least, this is a business even though it's the world's best
source for LSx technical information. Our sponsors pay to support the
site and we support out sponsors by modifying our vehicles, racing, etc.
In a perfect world, we want all members to have the best experiences here...which in turn means more visits, more mods, more sponsor support,
etc.

The underlying tone always at LS1Tech is that we make every effort
to do what is best for the community.

I hope you understand. If not, shut up and deal with it! j/k

Thanks.
