Instead of linking to your photo at Yahoo in your signature, sign up at a site such as http://www.photobucket.com/ and host your photo there, and then you can display it in your signature as an image instead of just a link, by using the 'img' codes like this... here's an example:

Just be sure that the image you use in your signature is not any larger than 150 pixels tall by 500 pixels wide.
