And sorry.....but the Honda can easily keep up with the GSXR1000. Honda whoops Suzuki all day everyday in FIM WSBK. 151 mph is what that bike will trap all day long....Guaranteed.
How's it going to do that? My box stock '02 Bus put 161 to the tires, and with full exhaust, small airbox mod, ATRE, and a PC3 did 183. How's that going to beat me? Cause it's lighter? BS, even being heavier the wheelbase of the Bus lets it launch harder from a dig and the aero advantage helps from a higher mph roll where weight isn't as much of a factor.

I always hear stories of these liter bikes beating similar mod Busa's...and most people cite peak horsepower as their argument. You can't do that, the Bus has a lot flatter torque curve than the liter bikes...and it more than makes up for its weight. Personally, I've heard people run their mouth...but I've only been beat by one liter bike (and it was stretched and far from stock).

The new 08's and 09's 1000RR's are very fast. Totally different bike than the older ones. But still not enough to outrun a old Suzuki

who said anything about stocker-ish? this bike has HRC cams/springs, Extremely fine tuned mapping, portwork, and i was running a 116 octane mix with lots of timing. i have over 150 lbs over that Busa plus only fat guys with small peckers ride those two wheel 'Zuki slugs. there are many guys running a box stock liter into the deep 9s with just a bit of clutch work, and consistent strategy. the only people who need lots of stretch lack throttle control, clutch working, and weight shifting. please man, just because you ride a bored out, stretched Busa doesnt mean your bike can outrun a ,lighter and far more advanced motorcycle with an extremely seasoned rider onboard. i hope people are subscribing to this thread. i will have some more runs soon enough.

and yes you have seen me on 1000RR.net. i'm happy to hear there are guys as serious about their Blade and they are about their LSX.

oh heres a stocker-ish liter getting 9s. **** STRETCH. i'l keep my stock geometry and enjoy my real track days at Jennings or PBIR.
