Well its been an adventure to this point to say the least. My 1st LS, Turbo, EFI and computer controlled setup. So its been slow tuning it up and getting it to go quicker all the time. I run all no prep events so we do not get many time slips and I dont go out for testing much at all. So here are a couple of slips. Race weight is 3300lbs and on ET radials.
1 from last year while we were still learning it all. Had a best 60ft on this pass. Most are in the .20s to .30 range. On this hit, the engine starting eating itself right after the launch so the ET's suck. I also did have an anti roll bar in he rear.
The next slip has a better ET which was this year. Rebuilt engine with a full forged bottom end so we started to turn it up. This is maxed out on my S482. 22psi is all it has with the current setup. It was on a no prep so it slipped a little in the 60ft. Should have been about .2 of the ET with a good hooking track.
I dont have any 1/4 mile slips because these events are all 1/8th mile. But it should run in the mid 8s in the 1/4
Now is time for a freshen up, bigger turbo and probably a different exhaust and cold charge setup to make more power. So hopefully I will show some faster times next year.
