Default Fuel Tech or Holley

Question for guys running LS turbo motors in the 1000hp+ range with TH400 transmissions which tuner do you prefer and why? I'm sold on Fuel Tech mostly because of the support and the fact that just about everyone in the faster cars run it so having added help trackside if needed would be there. Just curious in others opinions.

I'm running a Holley Dominator. Easy to wire, easy to edit.

Installing a FT550 right now in a BBC/ 2 stage Nitrous car. I have also installed Holley Dominators/Terminators. From an installation and set up part I find the Fuel Tech a bit nicer and more modern and equipment seems to be a notch or two above Holley from a quality standpoint. The functionality is impressive in the smaller footprint of the FT550/600 ECU's. Having not known a lot about FT until recently I have been able to find ALOT of support online, through their website and from their YouTube videos. So far I haven't been stumped. This car has a lot of sensors and gizmos on it, so I ended up needing the Input Expander which is a nice 'add on' to a FT550. This install is also using the unterminated harness, there are pros and cons to that. One of the pros is the length is dead on once terminated and the wire routing can be perfect - which IMO is more than half of the importance of a custom install. The con would be terminating every single connector - it is ALOT of work building the harness. The smaller the terminals, such as for the Low Dollar shock sensors, ECU 1.0 connectors, etc. it takes patience and skill to be sure they are crimped properly and installed into the housings correctly. Pre-terminated harness installs are faster, but you will typically end up not needing all of the connectors/wires/etc. and then may also need to add things, or extend things based on your vehicle. For the amount of money you can get tied up in either it needs to look 'right' IMO. I have a couple buddies using FT on turbo BBC's and they love it. I really like the NANO wide bands also, along with the CAN interface. Simple and easy to install, the pods are awesome too. Adding their switch panel is simple too, straight CAN. This car owner bought an 8 mini, and I quickly realized he was going to need more switch capability, adding a 5 switch was simple, just plug it into the CAN network and pin map the circuits in the software. I have a Dominator on my car, but if I was starting from square on on all the ECU stuff, I would do Fueltech - I believe there is more functionality in their systems, which are smaller in size and they have easy expandability. They are ahead of Holley IMO.
