Hi guys, time for an update about my project. I delayed finishing the car because I decided to upgrade the whole car suspension, 4 corner new wheels with mini tub to fit 12" wheels, replace the fiberglass front clip with all steel, get a 100% whole new complete interior, new wiring, paint the whole car, etc...
Finally last August I took it for a test hit at Cecil County and it went 9.23@146 leaving with only 5 pounds of boost becasue rear ratio was too high (4.10s) and shook the tires a few times and hitting the RPM limiter at the top end. Then decided to go with 3.73s because its the lower you can get for a 4 series 12 bolt carrier and I was able to put a litle bit more boost and run 9.01 @ 152mph (5.71 1/8 mile) then drove it home with no issues.
Last month I decided to do another upgrade and got a a set of 35 spline axles and spool from Moser and with 3.42s rear ratio and now I should be able to hit those 1.2 60 feet and hopefully get this thing into the mid 8s and drive it home. Its a built 5.3L with a 85mm turbo
