This one just made it. It was the first try on the small shot.
There are lots of C5's in the 9's Check out The Vette Doctors, LPE, MTI, Modern Muscle Car, ARE, Cartek, Eastcoast Supercharging and I am sure there are more that I missed. Now how many of them can run the number at will not too many. Me I run 9.30's-9.50's all day any day with a stock suspension. Nines are old news 8's are the new goal. I will do it before the season is out on stock suspsension and my little 10" tire

From what I can find through my research, John G's C5R powered 2000 Corvette Coupe built by The Vette Doctors is the Fastest NA Gen III powered vehicle.
It has run dozen's of 9.3 passes with a best caught on video at 9.37@143.7.

Carmen (The Vette Doctor) did all the drivetrain, induction and tuning work and worked with Bob at NRC to set up the chasis including the cage, back half and the suspension.

My car , built by Cartek , is the fastest NON-C5R headed Naturally Aspirated C5 in the country at 9.98 at 136 . It's a Hydraulic Roller cam , LS6 Heads 12 to 1 motor . The car is street driven weekly . I wonder what it would run with 14 to 1 compression and a solid roller like some other C5's are running .
