From what I can find through my research, John G's C5R powered 2000 Corvette Coupe built by The Vette Doctors is the Fastest NA Gen III powered vehicle.
It has run dozen's of 9.3 passes with a best caught on video at 9.37@143.7.

Carmen (The Vette Doctor) did all the drivetrain, induction and tuning work and worked with Bob at NRC to set up the chasis including the cage, back half and the suspension.
We have several LS1 in the 9's, reminder these are completely street driven cars, More Info http://www.motorsporttech.com/customer_rides/index.asp
