9 sec Cobra's?????
I don't understand this whole "my model is better than yours" war. If a car runs 9s who cares how much the person paid for it. Who cares if someone paid 10k more to have a faster car than you. There's plenty of camaros/mustangs that can beat a stock $150k ferrari, but I know I'd rather have the ferrari. The people who actually do run 9 second quarter miles are the ones smart enough to realize it doesn't matter what brand your car is. They respect each other for their achievements. Any car running that fast requires someone who knows what they're doing and knows how to drive. I'm not a big fan of mustangs looks, but if one is running that fast I respect them for what they've done. Almost every make of car has the potential to run insane speeds. I mean ****, there's a geo metro running 9s. Just get what you like and go from there. To each his own.

thats easy say go.any body can say,up here,or where i am from,etc.but if those cars are so hot,why dont i see them at my track?answer,you wont.there may be a few(make that less than 10) in the country that can really do what they say.thats great.in the mean time the rest of the cobra clan points to those oh so few stars as what any cobra can do to any one else.i tell you what,lets see if you can get some of those 9 sec. cobras to show up at carolina dragway,the cobra club usually has a event every six months or so.maybe they can chip in with the gas money for them to show up.that way maybe they might have the fastest car down there on that day.it would be a nice change for them.

Honestly let the facts speak for them selves.. Ford had nothing going for years and now with something produced a superchaged built engine and ford drivers get cocky! for what I have, never have I had any Ford be in my league... my setup is obvious... theres guys up here all over California with upgraded cobras with blowers and ported blowers with nitrous and never did I have a problem moving past them. In fact I have never heard or seen any 03/04 cobras in california break 9s yet, all in the 10s,11s and 12s. By the way I payed $6500 for my salvaged 99 ls1 and spent aproximately 13k on it so far and I will eat any 03/04 cobra around here!!!! Also my car is daily drivable and I do street race! And folks around here know me pretty well!

sure like to see one.too bad its all the way down in houston.kinda like saying there are 9 sec cobras in botswana.no one is gonna drive that distance just to see one.and no one is gonna leave houston to show the rest of us.so i guess that means the rest of us will never see these mythical creatures.
