Hey Jon, you should ask Brad (Noyzee) He got into the 9s with nitrous on a 346. I think his was auto though......

346ci with 200hp should get the 9's but its gotta cut a good short time. Even at worst a high 1.4 and you should be able to chop it down up top.

i believe noyzee has a powerglide anddddd you said street trim.. with a 6 speed youd have to have a **** load of power and tire because your going to need to make up some time after spinning off the line

With that power at that weight and using a 28" slick, good driving will surely get you 9's. I'd think at least close to mid 9's. As stated, it must 60' well. I think you could see 9s though with a 1.55 or quicker with that much power.
I honestly busted out laughing when I read 2600lbs. or whatever. Good to hear it was a mistake, I thought you guys were passin' some 'shine around at the shop hahaha.

my car only made 340 rwhp off spray, and with 300 worth of spray and 3400+ pounds the car went 9.40 but it grabed good, i had alot of time into tuning my suspention, and no matter what the track condition was, i was able to run consistant 1.30-1.32 60'!
6 speed will be doable with 700 rwhp as long as it holds together.

I think it will take 650rwhp+ to run 9's in a manual street car at stock weight.(3600lbs). Then your gonna need great driving,good air and good suspension, rollcage,and gears.
So, unless you have all those things I say no. So, prove me wrong.
The only manual vettes to run nines near stock weight had around 750rwhp and better and vettes are lighter,no?
A camaro or ws6 will benefit however with better gearing, smaller rims(more sidewall), and stronger driveline. Just my .02.
