In the 9's N/A!
I'll get some pics posted of the engine, dont ban me yet
The whole setup was just installed last week, and the engine didn't even get fired until 4am Sunday morning, the day before the shootout. Its a 434 cubic inch LS1 with darton sleeves. This weekend was the first time on the track with this engine, fuel system, etc.
The raceweight of the car was 3350, so its still no lightwieght. These passes were also on MT 325 Drag Radials and 93 octane pump gas.
I don't have a timeslip to post because they weren't printing slips, but an email can be sent to scott@primedia if anyone wants to verify it. I was just hoping to get a title change to 9 second club. I'll post up the other details of the combo in the sig.
Congrats on your times! Impressive setup.

That track was deffinately hooking. We've went a little quicker down here in NC with about the same air, but I think it still has a little in it. What type of radials were you running? We're they slicks? The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

We're they slicks?10.5 X 30 Hoosier slicks. I had been running 9" X 30" slicks Hoosier makes for the NHRA Stock Eliminator cars. Should have bought some 12" wheels for the 10.5"s instead of the 10" wheels I already had. I let the air press down some after I got back home and they worked fine. Had 10.5" X 29" bias ply Hoosier slicks on for the last two attempts, including that big-assed wheel stand. Thought maybe it was a little slick, didn't realize it was all the new tires. Too much front end travel & shocks set too soft. Got the oil pan, headers and top radiator support. I'm going to have it tubbed and a narrower rear end to get the wheels under the car better. Looks like crap with 10.5" tires. Need to get the rear down some also.

Nice run, gotta love all motor cars.
What setup do you have for the rear end and its gearing, also what the specs on the cam? Just a'lil curious if you could share that if not its kool.
Being an all motor car, and 60 footing like it does... I'm guessing 4.56 rear gear?

They should race on the track from the reverse direction so your running downhill instead of uphill
