will my acpt carbon driveshaft handle the single digit load.........need to know what there true ratings are........thanx

im running a mark williams carbon fiber piece....and its held for 1.23 60ft's and a dozen or so 8 second hits.

If you're going to go with an ACPT unit, get the 3.8" O.D. version.

Taner,
The 3 3/4" outside diameter shaft has the carbonfiber wound in 2 different directions which gives it more strength. The 3.0" diametershafts have the carbon fiber wound in only one direction. Let me know if you are interested we sell carbon fiber shafts too

My CF shaft from PST www.pstds.com has held up for over 5+ years and 100's of passes. 3280 lbs 3rd Gen running 8.80's, 1.22 best 60 ft. Less vibrations going down the track also, acts like a harmonic balancer for the drive train.

I have seen pictures on this site before of an ACPT carbon fiber drive shaft that had the joint busted/twisted out of the end and no damage to the carbon fiber center.
