I remember a guy with a black w/ a white bumblebee stripe on the front that ran 7's I believe in his small tire convertible.

I think he sold it or at least tried to, I'm looking into painting my '67 black and wanted to see pics/videos of his car but I've searched my brains out and can't find anything.

Surely someone on here knows of him or maybe he'll see this. Thanks.

That car is from Kansas City and came down to a couple of shootouts here at Tulsa. It has run about 7.90 @ 179 MPH at KCIR and has a procharged 540 BB with an F2R or F-3 on it. It has a lot of trouble getting down the track too but occasionally makes a good fast run.

 

If I'm not mistaken that car is for sale on racing junk. $39,500 is the asking price. says best pass is 7.90 @ 180 with a 1.19 60'. They dropped the pro charger though and just run nitrous now. Still in the low 8's though.
