Have any of you used the small base MSD pro billet?
I noticed the diameter on it is a good size smaller then the standard Pro Billet, making it handy for the tight engine space in the 4th gens.
Any one have any comments on it's fitment or quality?
Also what ignition box do you guys recommend? I was going to go with the 6al.
Thanks,
~Jim~

.
Only issue I've ever seen or heard about was spark jumping because the head was too small.
Guys running big coils, big box's. IIRC 2 guys had to switch to a bigger head, but they had plenty of room.
BBC's in old cars.
With your mild motor & a small box I wouldn't sweat it. Good luck.

never had any problems from a small cap. you have to run that dist. on a 1st gen f-body and i have 7al2 box and have never had any trouble in my 68. i have heard people switching back to the 6al from the digitals because of issues but can't remember why exactly.
