Reverse waterpumps
Who sells reverse electric waterpumps for sbc?
I have a Proform electric pump and i was thinking of switch the wires for reverse rotation but the fans are curved,is there a conversion kit for it?

with a elec. water pump it won't matter about the rotation. they are only reverse on efi motors because of the belt routing. the water still flows the same just in the way the impeller is turned.

The block would have had to been modified extensively to support those heads... An Lt1 block has 4 ports at the water pump mounting surfaces... 2 per side. The top one of these ports pushes water directly to the heads via some internal block passages. The water then pours down out of the heads into the water jackets around the cylinders and back out of the block via the lower 2 ports at the water pump...
When people convert SBC heads to run on an LT1 block, they do some extensive modifications to make it work. To convert LT1 heads to work on a SBC would require even more extensive work to be done if its even possible at all.

I've done a lot of research and have not been able to find any positive information on using Lt1 heads on 1st gen engines. These heads are very different and just like it was said, IT WOULD REQUIRE A LOT OF EXTENSIVE WORK! I really don't think anyone would get into doing this since there are better flowing heads that will bolt right up with out major surgery. Unless you mean first gen LT1 heads. There were engines called LT1's in the earlier years.
