Water temp sender location...
I hooked up the heater core in my car b/c its been getting too freaking cold to drive around with no heat. So I had to remove the sender from the front left of the intake to the top left on the radiator. I couldnt put it by the water neck b/c its too tall and it gets in the way of the hose. Should I leave it on the radiator or should I try to put it on the intake using a 90* adaptor. I think its too high up on the radiator and also not as accurate. Any ideas???

I didnt know I could do that. Where would it go? I saw a plugged hole on the pass head but was unsure if it would be the right one.
And now that I think about it I think theres one on the block also, that I forgot to plug when I first istalles the engine and all the water was coming out through it. Ill have to check it ut in the daytime tomorrow or sat.

Yes, drivers side front was the factory location on a lot of gen 1 small blocks. And obviously the pass side head has the same hole toward the back.
If you had the sender in a heater hose hole on the intake you may need a different adapter for it if you have heads with center bolt valve covers. The later heads use a smaller hole.
