Default 350 to a 383

Okay Just found out today that my block needs to be .40 over. If I order my 383 kit with .40 pistons what is the acutal cubes?

One more Question.

I had 415 horse power with my 350. What kind of numbers should i get from just the bigger cubes?

Thank you very much guys!

engine hp will be determined by cylinder heads, cam scr, dcr, intake etc.
but the bigger engine will use up the heads more and make more hp and tq as is

30-40 additional HP if you keep everything else the same.
Potentially more torque (40-50 add'l), depending on the current combo. I assume you will be upping your compression, slightly?

Ok....i thought i posted this but:

At the general efficiency of 1.5 HP per cylinder, you should gain about 47 HP.

With the same heads and cam, it should make about the same peak numbers, but make more power "under the curve" with more displacement. Extra compression should be worth something though.

i've noticed guys with 4k+ stall will not see much gain in ET. Like KCS stated, they'll make more power under the curve which you'll never really see with a loose converter since they "flash" up around the max power quicker.

i probably failed at making since.
