Crack in lifter valley???

Crack in lifter valley??? I pulled my 355 sbc out of my dirt track car a few weeks back to out new bearing in the bottom end I was about to install the intake when I seen what looks like a 2 or 3 little crack not even a inch long. I already have everything back togather and the intake is about the last piece to go on is there anyway I can check these cracks with the motor the way it is? The motor ran fine last season no problems at all I drained the water out of it this winter also.

Been there, done that. First I tried a bit of sanding and some JB Weld. This wasn't entirely successful, so I moved on to Moroso HardBlok. But only in the area of the crack. Once that was done, I re-honed the nearest cylinder, again using the same torque plate as the first time. That was several years ago, with a later 4-bolt 350 block, cast # 638, and no problems so far. This has been street use, not race-only.
