GM Gen 6 454 timing chains

GM Gen 6 454 timing chains Does anyone here have experience running the factory Gen 6 GM timing chain above 7500 rpm?
The setup uses about 1/2" pitch single roller chain. Here is the GM description.
12371053 - Timing Chain Kit 502 Engine
This heavy-duty timing chain assembly is used on all second design 502 Gen VI with roller lifter engines with aluminum front timing cover. This kit includes crankshaft sprocket P/N 12550039, camshaft sprocket P/N 12551401, chain P/N 10114177, camshaft retainer P/N 10168501, three hex bolts P/N 9424877, two bolts P/N 14093637, and use these components for replacement service

With the spring pressure and heavy valve train I wouldn't run anything but the best double roller you can find. Crane makes a 2 piece timing chain cover that will clear no problem and also has provisions to adjust the cam clearance/access to degree cam while assembled.
