Default 383 question

my boss just installed a blueprinted 383 into his 66 chevy II but were havin problems blowin oil somewhere out of the front of the motor. it doesnt do it at idle and we tried stallin the car up to put it under load but it didnt spray. it only seems to blow oil when he tries driving it up the street. it had one of those rubber gaskets but we just changed it to a cork style with a nice bead of silicone.

anyone know why it could be blowin oil out of the front.

also he has a pcv valve on one side of the valve cover to the manifold. would that be creating too much crankcase pressure?

You need more air flow. The pvc is only recirculating the hot air and gases the engine makes.
So what you need is fresh incoming air like a breather on the valve cover or
a oil fill tube in the intake manifold with a vented breather cap.
What happens without pulling in outside air it builds pressure in the crankcase
and blows oil past the seals.
