Default Summit Racing valve spring kit?

trying to run what I got.....
1972 350 stock rebuild (8.5 to 1?), 72 1.94 cast heads hand ported by myself heads are milled and want to run a .015 headgasket to get the most compression I can. I want to run Comp Cams XE284h 240/246 .507 .510 LSA110 advertised 2300-6500 powerband
1987 Camaro - now the motor already has geardrive, performer intake, Holley 750 vac sec, HEI, hooker long tubes
I plan on running a TCI streetfighter stall 3000 and 4.10 gears

now for the question....the springs comp suggests using do not fit stock spring pockets so I was searching and found SUM-174000 valve spring kit and I know its only a single spring compared to comps dual spring suggestion. But will this work or am I looking for problems down the road

spring kit says .550 max lift and comes with springs, retainers, locks, valve seals

i put those same springs on my 350+.060 build, fit very nicely on my machined vortec heads, seem to be high quality, nice springs... ill be running them with xe274 (.490/.490 lift)
