Stock speedometer

Stock speedometer I have a 1993 Trans Am that I swapped a 355 SBC into. I am running a built 700R4 transmission with a stock electric speedometer sending unit. I am attempting to use the stock gauge cluster and have been able to get all the gauges to work except the speedometer. I bought a Dakota Digital box to alter the signal coming from the sending unit on the transmission to the speedometer, but can't seem to find a setting that works and will make it work as it should. I have searched and read through a ton of threads and found a few comments about some running stock gauges but no info on how to. Has any one successfully ran their stock speedometer and if so what have you done?
