I'm so lost lol so many choices
this motor I'm trying to plan is gonna prob take me 5 years to save for because I want the best of everything from the bottom to the top. plans as of now are a short stroke 4"/4.030 bore so a 302/306, I could always stay 350/355 either way its gonna spin to the moon and back so these heads need to flow also I'm thinking lots O boost via a nice supercharger set up

I hear a lot of good things about vortec heads but have no clue on specifics
I just looked at brodix's website and I'm even more lost!! 12* up 23* heads, standard is 23* right? what do you have to do to accommodate a lesser degree head on a 302/350 any advantages?

OMG so help

I think you mean a 3'' stroke dont you ? which is what it would take for a 302. A stock 350 came with 3.48 stroke. You could go with a 3.750 and build a 383 or 3.875 and build a 396. Why limit yourself with a short stroke motor, go with more cubes, its easier to make horsepower that way. On the heads ,unless you really want to spend some coin, stay with the 23 deg. AFR and Dart are 2 good choices. you may want to consider buying a motor if your starting from nothing, probably cheaper in the long run. JMO.

read up in this section there is alot of good coming out with the new prfiler heads seem to make good power..... if all out race they have the Dr. Js air wolf which is 220 or 245 runner as long as you take the lift up they flow a ton or if you really want some flow go 18* but you wont find anyhting off the shelf to fit that means custom pistons intakes and headers and shaft mount rocker setups

yes I know all the various strokes. I have seen all the threads that turn into short stroke bashing I already have a high compression 383 in my 94 camaro but I'm looking to build a 302, maybe a 350 just to have a better aftermarket choice on parts. there is no way to talk me into another 383 or a 396 btw you for got 408 I'm not concerned to much about price tag as long as its within reason. I will not buy an already assembled motor for this sort of build I just wouldn't trust anything I didn't see/do with my own eyes.

I will look into the pro-filer stuff
I did a little reading but didn't see a lot on some of the big names
