a size 42 in the front has FIXED the problem! thanks for all the help one last question is should I put the 35 on the rear? it now has a 42 in the front and 31 in the rear. Is this ok? Thanks

Try it man. If it runs good like that let it eat. Thats a heck of a squirter but oh well. Glad you got it figured out. Glad we could point you in the right direction.

sounds good. Yeah Im swingin for a wideband soon. But my options are 31 35 and 42 so what works best is what itll get. Thanks fellas you have no idea how fun it was layin down that new motors first set of black marks !

Hell yeah dude thats great. I would try the squirters in every combo you can think of including playing with a acc pump cams. Find the mildest combo that doesnt affect performance and that should keep you from wasting a lot of fuel.

yeah definitely. I hit the throttle once to prime the thing and start it after installing the 42 and just said ......damn, 8 mpg just went to 4 haha

Lol. I swear my 96 firebird has a 11.1 cr 406 with profiler 210's 640 lift 252° @ .050 hyd roller, a super victor manifold and 850 quick fuel hp carb and it gets almost as good of gas mileage as my 97 jeep cherokee which gets around 17mpg. I love my wideband.

^^^that just sold me lol. i used to get 20 with the same cam and smaller heads witha 3.08 rear gear but then I went to a 4.10 and it went down to about 14

Lol. Great talking to you man have fun. Btw I use the ngk powerdex wideband. Its a nice medium between a tuners tool and a individuals car mounted piece.

Ive been looking for the NGK and havent found it yet but that sounds like exactly what I need. Thanks for all the tips!
