help with cam please i have a 355 12.5:1 pistons with 2.05 1.60 double hump heads, been ported and flowed and matched to the intake which is a single plane high rise victor junior. my cam was a 630 solid mech lift, thats all i can tell you but it has a wiped lobe. i need a new cam but dont know what to get. it is just a race car and i turn it about 7400. i want a solid flat tappet. thanks

In terms of all out power (in a race application), the camel humps are probably holding you back - compared to new style aftermarket heads with much better flow. So much so, you probably will run out of flow above 6K on a 355. I'm not sure what they would sell for now, but if you are going to pull the motor half apart for a cam, maybe a head swap makes sense too.
