Default Trying to decode this suffix code, no luck. Help?

My dad has a 1969 Z28 that originally was a DZ302 car. The original owner blew the 302 up and replaced it with a 350 out of a 69 RS/SS. Ive tracked down what the owner believes to be a 69 z28 302 motor but he doesnt seem like he knows a whole hell of alot about it.

Attached is the only picture I have of the engine. I called the owner and he said the only number he could find stamped in the block was a VI02WH. However I cannot find anything about that number. I believe it may be a V102WH but it seems like its missing some other numbers. I cant actually put my hand on the motor as its in another state. I was under the impression a true DZ block would have a VXXXXDZ stamped in it where the XXXX is the 4 digit numerical date code. Any help?
