Default carb jet size help

I have a mild 355 going in an 89 k5. It's 10:1, single pattern 218/.454 110 cam with vortec heads and performer rpm intake. Headers, full exhaust...etc.

I know the jets in the carb are too large as it was on a 383 engine with a lot more done to it before I bought it.

It's a 650 dp and I can't remember what jets are in it off the top of my head. (I'll look when I get home) but I was wondering what would be a good starting point for jet size to get it running without washing the walls or running it too lean.

It's easier to make a bigger carb act smaller than to make a small carb act bigger. If you plan on buying another in the future, I would choose at least a 750. You can always add to the motor later on and save money on buying a bigger carb if required.

The 650 will be enough. If this engine comes out, it's never going back in. So it will stay the way it is.
