Default Dynomax bullets

ive been looking at these bullets for a while now,I was just wondering how much quieter are these compared to straight pipes?I did do some researching on this forum and other forums but cant get a straight answer,By the way they will be going on my c2500 5.7L vortec with 2 1/4 true duals and headers,Right now i have glasspacks they are blown out(no packing)they sound good but losses sound after 1700rpm-Up.I have looked at the 1 chambers but dont have the sound im looking for.

Not much quieter than straight pipes. I had one on my duramax Kodiak. Of course the turbo kept it quiet until it hit about 15psi, then sounded like all hell broke loose.

They won't be any quieter, it will just change the tone a little bit.

I have a cat-less x-pipe magnaflow bullets and dumps at the rear axle. It's noticeable at idle and cruising around town but you can still have a conversation in the car with out yelling or straining to hear the other person. When you bury your foot on the fun pedal it pretty much sounds like war.

All i run is bullets on everything. hey are decent sounding at cruise for me, but as D79 said, they announce themselves to the world at WOT.

i just putted them on today all welded up,It has no crackling until around 2500 rpm.I hoping for them to sound something like straights which they dont at all,My buddy had them on the same truck just had manifolds and it crackled way more.I have shorty headers,no cats,2 1/2 12" body bullets. Its quiet.Hopefully it will get louder.I figured it would have be louder vs my buddys truck since he had the shitty manifolds. His where probably broken in though.

No telling. You may just want more, but the short 6 inch bullets i have been buying lately may be what you really wanted.

The Mini Race Bullets do not come in a 2.5" only 3", 3.5" or 4".

Bullets do NOT = muffler.

They DO, however, = AWESOME.

As far as the "crackle", that has more to do with unburned fuel in the exhaust than anything else. A rich AFR will get you that sound, no problem

I used to be able to make my 95 Z28 with the LT1 throw blue flames downshifting and giving it a touch of throttle with straight pipe. Had that gurgle/rumble i liked. The slight throttle was the extra fuel not burning and making the sound/flame.

Bullets are amazing as stated, once I went to running one around 2006 that is all I have ran since.

It is so loud you can't even hear the car in the other lane.
