81 Camaro question

81 Camaro question Im not sure if this is where this goes but it goes with a sbc so yea mods let me know if I need to move it.
So I have a few questions, first off this is my brothers car so I will try and fill in the blanks as best I can. Its a 81 z28, 350 sbc possibly bored not sure, th350 trans, edelbrock performer intake and cam and 600 cfm carb everything else I believe is stock.
1) anyone know the stock gear ratio?
2) does anyone make a longtube with bigger then 1 5/8 primaries?
3) He is getting about 8mpg how do I make it better?
4) whats some good places to pick up some fiberglass pieces?

The only way to know on the rear axle is to physically count the teeth on the gears. You can mark the drive shaft and reartire, turn the tire 1 full revolution and count how many times the ds turns this will get you an approximate ratio. Hooker super comps come in 1 3/4", There's a bunch of fiberglass pieces for these cars, just do a google search, VPN and custom works are 2 that come to mind. A good tune up should help with the gas mileage
