I built a 383 sbc with eagle forged crank, forged h beam rods, and mahle forged pistons....it is 11.2:1 compression with ported dart aluminum 200cc heads...comp xr294hr cam...question is what are the maximum rpm I could safely spin this motor....thanks for you input

sounds like my motor, i shifted mine at 7400 on motor and 7800 on nitrous

6" h-beam rods
3.75 stroke
10.4/1 cr
230 dart pro1
comp xs294s-10 (same grind just a solid flat tappet)

yours being hyd, id say around 7000

Wouldn't the head build have as much or more to do with the how high you can rev than the motor itself?!?
