Im new at this and I just got a quick question. Maybe someone has done this and maybe not. But it wont hurt to ask right?. I recently purchased a 98 z28 camaro with no motor or trans. I plan to make a drag car out of it. I built a late 70's 350 which is now a 383. My question is. If i put a hot battery to the car it should work everything except the motor. Correct? I don't want to have to rewire this whole car cause im not to good at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm sure you've figured this out but yes, the cars lighting and BCM functions are separate from the engine. I left all the wiring minus the engine and trans harness in mine and everything works as it should with a carbed small block.
