I’m a proud owner of a ls3 C6 Corvette.
I have been looking at a certain classic car and just have a few questions if anyone could help out.
I first need to know which engine this is. The seller is telling me that it is an LT1 with a carb.
Second question is which hose is this?
Is it a fuel hose? Fuel line?
I have circled the hose in green.
The seller is telling me that hose is leaking and he does not know what the hose is for.
sorry for the noob questions I have searched all engine diagrams and was not able to figure it out.

Impossible to say what engine that is from this pic. LT1 had centerbolt covers, so it’s possible. Could be however a tired 327 with centerbolt heads from a truck. Who knows?
The hose looks to me to be pressure side of power steering from this picture.
That looks like the LT1 carbed intake (no integral t-stat housing) plus that sure looks like a LT1 water pump. Can't imagine that intake & water pump being on anything other than a LT1.
I would guess the circled hose is to the water pump (heater hoses looped?).

6 bolt water pump housing + thermostat housing on top of it = Gen II SBC (LT1). Passenger side accessory bracket with alternator on it is also an indicator. I think that line probably goes to a coolant overflow tank because I don't see one on the firewall and the battery is probably in the pass. front corner of the engine bay. OP, see if you can see what's at the other end of that line lol.
