Default Camshaft identify and block ?

I picked up a LT1/4 block. Using it to rebuild another engine. It is a "327" Block. On the front pad there is only V102874NI ( (or N1?). Would like to know what this came out of. I know the 327 block is a LT-1/4. It is a 4 bolt, so that would make it a Corvette block not a 2 bolt F-Body block. It appears this engine might have been rebuilt. Paint on the block doesn't appear to be a GM paint job?. And from the brass freeze plugs on a few of the locations and the rest painted, someone has done some work on this engine.

It came with a CAM in it. Not planning on using it. But want to know what this cam is. This is to learn the history of how this block was treated.
On the back end of the cam is the following markings. See attached.

295 96L
395 WB37

I did a quick search. But got mixed and just some general hits. Anything you guys can post.
Thanks
BC

The VO is the engine ID but there should be 3 letters at the end for the suffix code. Try and clean the paint off because it looks like something is stamped above at the end. I don't remember any LT1 code that began with N though. Look between the lobes of the cam for a three digit number like a 241.
I found it, the NT suffix is the LT1 boat engine.

Yes. It is NT at the end. Might explain why the cylinders aren't to bad of shape. Very limited ridges. The cylinders have a lot of surface rust, dirt and grease from sitting around. I'll clean that gunk off to get a better look at the walls for any cross hatching. But a quick look there doesn't appear to be any excessive wear on the cylinders. I look tomorrow when I continue to clean the block.

I don’t think there should be any concern that this block was used in a boat. Any option ?

It should be the same block. All LT1/4 5.7 blocks are cast as 2 bolt blocks 10125327, even the Corvette and boats apparently that were then machined for 4 bolt caps. I also heard that all the replacement/warranty engines were 4 bolt even for the f-bodies.

Yeah. the block was used through 1997 in the F-Body and were a 4 bolt block. I was un-aware of the limited usage in Marine application. Learn something all the time.

The Malibu Corvette used a Corvette LT4 with a Northstar waste fire DIS ignition setup.

Mastercraft had some LT1 powered ski boats too in the 90s. Cadillac Northstar waste fire DIS on them too. To solve the optispark issues in a marine environment.
