Just pulled my motor out and appart. I blew appart 2 main caps. Does anyone know what is the best option for the rebuild. I want something that is totally bulletproof. Monsterous billet caps.
It put down over 700 hp at the wheels before letting go.

Are you wanting a new block, or just new caps? The bowtie would be my block of choice if you need another one.

 

Dart Rocket block........but i'm kinda biased due to having one as the foundation for my 427! that block can hold like 2000 hp!!!

I'm seconding the new block idea. If you are putting down that kinda power, why not go with an aftermarket block to handle that stress? Any of the 3 mentioned will work, and that'll handle the 700+ ponies you're putting down a lot better than any stock block.
