87 G-body Q My friend has an 87 Cutlass Supreme with a v8 and doesn't know what motor it is. I tried looking at it but it was freezing cold outside and I wasn't out long enough to find any stickers. I know by 87 GM was mixing and matching motors so any help would be useful. 
If the plugs are above the exhaust and easily seen and it has a very flat intake manifold it is a Olds 307. If it has a med rise dual plane and plugs under the exhaust manifolds, it is a Chevy 305.

Hey I figured someone would know the optional engines in that model that year and I was right. He's usually busy and this was the first time I got to look. And sorry I don't have pics but I don't have a digital camera, and if I did, I wouldn't bring it to the gym with me, and if I did THAT, then I still wouldn't be able to upload it on this POS old *** computer. And like I said it was frickin' cold out and I was covered in sweat which made it worse so I didn't get a good look at it.
I wanted to know so maybe when it goes in for a tranny rebuild I can convince him it needs headers and exhaust so it doesn't sound like a v6 with a disease anymore.lol
