Mildly built 355 sbc,632 horsepower at 5,400 rpms, 705 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm
The blower that was used the Whipple 2.1 liter it was the carburetored verson. The carb used was a 1050 Holley Dominator, it was dyno on 100 octane. The 2.1 isnt even the biggest blower they have, imagine what it could it could do on a 427 sbc. The possibilities are endless
If that isnt badass enough there is always the 3.3 liter blower
Here is what the numbers worked out to be:
lb-ft) (psi)
RPM TORQUE HP BOOST
2500 614 292 11.2
3000 663 379 12.0
3500 699 466 12.0
4000 704* 536 11.5
4500 685 587 11.1
5000 654 623 10.9
5400 615 632* 10.5
5500 600 628 10.0
* Power peaks
Id say the peak power numbers look good for only 12 psi
I think the most this blower can push is 25 psi. So yeah the potential is there.
