4x4 silverado BBC conversion sorry i don't know a whole lot about big blocks but i want to make my own 'silverado 454 SS' but with some actual power and traction. and hopefully for cheaper than i can buy an SS right now (8k plus)
can they be run on the stock TBI computer? what has to be changed beside engine and fuel delivery? is there a list of detailed steps somewhere?
how realistic is fuel injection opposed to carb? what would the drivability be like?
how much would a crate motor cost me? trans?
also would any 4wd components have to be changed/built?
i'm looking for approximate cost with certain engines, difficulty, etc.
