Big Block question Has anyone replaced the LS1 with a big block? A buddy and I are wondering if the 502 motor (carb version) would fit in a 4th gen F-body without cutting up the car too much. I know GM did it with the ZL1, but I do not know what was modified to make it fit.

The F LT1 uses unique motors mounts; I don't imagine those mounts will bolt up anywhere on a Rat block; older SBC mounts bolt right up to a Rat.
Cutting up the car isn't the issue; figuring out mounts is.
