man bro, looks like its comming along awesome! i think your dad would deffinatly be digging your plans and what your doing. I like the look of the truck in the photoshop other than the wheels look kind of big. I say stick with draglites or something like some 15x3.5s up front and 15x15s out back! that would look awesome. But great work so far, and deffinatly keep updating the pictures!

Thanks! It's going back in the paint booth soon to have more work done on it.

Here's another photoshop I did. I just lowered it and added the wheels.

You don't need a bed. From the looks of the camper shell rub around the back window I'd say the insides of the bed should be in really good shape.
I would install a bed side or have someone straighten that one. Fleetsides are way better IMO.

Here's a recent video of it after I had an exhaust made for it with cut-outs after the collectors. It was still running rich but I have since jetted it down. I'm most likely going to get a Mighty Demon to clear up a lot of issues with this Holley 750 DP.

I'm also having some oil leaking issues that I can't seem to fix. I must have a turbo charged oil pump because I'm getting lots of oil pressure up top in the valve covers. It first started with just oil vapors/smoke coming out of the breathers on the valve covers so I put in new rubber grommets with new breathers and I would get so much oil squirting up there that it would leak out of the side of the breather or trickle down the side of the valve cover from the grommets. I then changed over to a breather on the pass. side and pcv valve on the driver's side with a hose going up to the air filter. That cured the visual smoke but I'm still getting so much oil vapor that it's sucking it up all the way up to the air filter and accumulating. Even my oil cap gathers oil on top of the lid from it not making a good seal I guess. It makes a HUGE mess of oil everywhere if I go floor it and wind it up. Oil spatters all over the carb and valve covers, etc. I just can't pinpoint where it all is coming from. One time it even blew my oil dipstick out of the dipstick tube after flooring it one time. But still, why am I getting so much oil pressure up there that it's making everything leak? I even notice oil dripping off the starter underneath and making a little puddle of oil on the ground. I made sure it's not overfilled with oil. I show right in the middle of the "add a qt. line" and full mark on the dip stick on a cold motor. I have a 7 qt. Moroso oil pan with windage tray and baffle. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Finally got the carburetor issue solved with the QuickFuel 750. Slapped it on, took the front jets out of the Holley and put'em in the Q/F, adjusted the linkage, 1 1/2 turns from base on the 4-corner idle... cranked right up ran great. I'm still gonna put a light on it to make sure the timing is right but I think it runs way better than it did and starts up easier.

Maybe in 10 years when I'm 40 I'll rebuild the truck from the frame up, powdercoat the frame and stuff and I'll go with a step side bed with wood floor cause I like the step side too if it's shaved and done right with different tail lights.

Here's a video of me running through 1st and 2nd gear short shifting at 6k rpm. I didn't want to go any higher until I get a tune and I know for sure it's making power up there. I was on a dirty gritty road so hardly no traction at first but normally those tires hook really good. This would be roughly a 1/8 mile run. I got out of it at the beginning of 3rd gear. Enjoy!
