How bad will shorty style 1.5 primaries 2.5 collector sized headers hurt my 3000 up power band?

I think that you should go with 1 3/4" with 2.5" or 3" collectors to help keep building power above 3K, and will help keep making power with future mods. JMO.

unless you have a 305 or smaller then 1 5/8

my 350 with 1 5/8 shortys with nos ran 12.0 at 122 so you can make power with them

well i have 355 eld perf angle heads, 292h, roller rockers 1.6ex, 1.65in, 10. to 1's, 5.7 pink rods, victor jr intake, 850 double pumper, regular hei, and i think thats about it. Like i said before it's in a vega and im limited to what i can use. Right now im using sanders headers for my application. Im just not real sure how its going to act untill I can afford to get some hooker super comps, then i can get away from my rubber motor mounts too.
