I'm installing a bbc in a 97 camaro .Has anyone used a dis. out of a 96-02 van in one it has the crab style dis. in it..will it work???I'm just tring to figure out clearance issues..

To the best of my knowledge if you ever want to change the timing you'll need a crank trigger ignition since there is just no way to get to a regular distributor with a BBC 4th gen conversion. I'm not quite at that point yet so I can't speak with to much authority yet.
