77 4 bolt main block bored .030 over
speed pro flattops .030 over
cam = 241/249@.050 .525/546
bowtie raised port heads fully ported
2.02/1.60 manley stainless valves
port matched victor jr intake
holley 750 dp
110gph fp


And hedman shorty headers and a dynomax 2.5 catback.


What gears and tourque converter will I need?

^2500-3000 stall and 4.11's.....???? or grab a T-56 and 3.73's...??? Just a guess. I'm waiting for somebody with some skill to tell me how far off I am...

it depends on the weight of the car also.

well its a thirdgen with power windows(thats it) !ac !air !back seats !underpadding !enterior panels !headliner..

Well should be plenty of intake and no exhaust. Ditch the Shorties (unless you HAVE to have them). Other than that everything else should be good.

I agree to ditch the shorties and get a set of 1-3/4" long tubes and a 3" dual exhaust system to let it breathe. If the cam is a solid grind, unless you gear the car up, I'd say 3400+ stall in the convertor to allow it to find the powerband.

I'm running a smaller cam than that and running a 3800 stall 10" J.W. convertor and 3.73 gears, and she'll hit 1.52 60 foots b/c of the motor hitting the sweet spot in the curve.
