New engine backfiring - Will not start?? HELP
New engine backfiring - Will not start?? HELP Just recently installed a 350 sbc in my 67 camaro. Went to try and start it up for the first time after the install and it would not start. Keep backfiring. We checked all the plugs and they are in the correct order - Does anyone know what the problem might be???
I think i know what your problem is, try checking to see if your distributor is 180 out, put #1 on tdc firing and take off your cap if your rotor is facing backwards then it is 180 out, its trying to fire on the exhaust tdc stroke rather than the compression stroke, hope this helps ya
