Default What to do with my big block

Hi so this is what I have, and what i want to do.

Its a 30 over 454 2 bolt main, with stock steel crank 10/10, stock Large oval heads 119cc w/ 3angle rebuild, flat top TRW's I think some where in the 8-8.25 to 1, Stock 3/8" rods 6.135, Hyd flat cam .515, with a 770 vacuum carb.

What i want is to run a vortech stile blower at about 8-10 psi, with a victor jr efi intake a .630 lunati solid roller cam. I think a 50-52 lb injector would be about right with a 90mm throttle body. this is going in an offroad truck with 4.88 gears and 40" tires mostly in the dunes and some mud. so it doesn't have to make all its power at 7500. But it would be nice to make some power at the top end and still make it drivable.(power at 2500 to 6500) I also only drive this truck about ten times a year and only offroad. it weighs 4200 lbs.

What my question is, can i run the bottom end i have. I plan on going and getting all ARP studs my concern is the 2 bolt block.

Nothing in the bottom end is forged????? You may wanna invest in a forged bottom end if you really wanna run 10 pounds of boost on it.

If you don't, I'd stick to around 5 or 6.

you should be good to go just stud the crank, heads and good head gaskets, maybe re-ring it to be safe too.. if i went thru the effort of getting it apart probaly just get a set of new pistons and bearings. imo you could probaly even get a lil more boost too with no worries. Theres alot of radical 2 bolts out there. i know mine will be!!

2 bolt big blocks will take a lot of power. I don't know a limit, but I know they will take at least 600.
