SBC Manifold On A LT1 ??

Yes you can, but you will have to convert the manifold to the LT1 bolt pattern or the heads to the SBC pattern. Convert it for EFI if it isn't already. Have to get an elbow of some sort to mount the TB to. www.intakelbows.com does a few as well as Wilson. Fuel rail mounts, and other misc things. I think all together it will be around a 1200 project. Check with SStroker, he does these conversions.

So like what was said above, you can adapt a SBC manifold to the LT1 bolt pattern or adapt the LT1 heads to the SBC manifold. Doing the latter of two choices means you 'should' have the heads off the engine.
Or you can just order a GMPP LT1 carb intake from summit for a couple hundred bucks. Only downfall is that its not a single plain intake. Its meant for basically stock engines.

And run a std dizzy instead of the opti crap... Opti doesnt work without the pcm controlling the ignition. Good thing all these intakes are already setup with the hole for a distributor
